Little Investigators Preschool’s mission is to provide a safe, beneficial and meaningful early education experience for children. We strive to create a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment which fosters each individual child’s needs.
We recognize that each child is an individual who is capable, competent and can be trusted to be active in his or her learning journey. By treating a child as an individual, we encourage success without pressure allowing each child’s unique development to progress at his or her own pace by offering them opportunities to make decisions and solve problems.
Why Little Investigators Preschool?
The Project curriculum enables children to experience the joy of self-motivated learning. When using the project approach, children are empowered to ask their own questions, conduct their own investigations and make decisions regarding their daily activities.
All of our teachers have earned at least 12 units of early childhood education, are CPR and First Aid certified, trained in Positive Discipline techniques and completed a specialized training program in project-based curriculum. All of the teachers adapt their teaching methods and instruction to meet the children's needs and interest.
Parents and families are an integral part of our community and essential to their child’s learning journey we make use of our communities’ resources and incorporate it into the program. We aim to provide an inclusive environment where children and families from different cultural backgrounds feel welcome and accepted.
