The project approach refers to a set of teaching strategies that enable teachers to guide students through in-depth studies of real-world topics. Projects have a complex but flexible framework within which teaching and learning are seen as interactive processes.
When teachers implement the Project Approach successfully, students feel highly motivated and actively involved in their own learning, leading them to produce high-quality work and to grow as individuals and collaborators.
Learning Centers are small areas within the classroom where children work independently or with others using instructional materials to explore one or more subject areas.
Our schedules are carefully designed to balance structure and free choice, as well as active and quiet times. Projects are planned based on the children's interest and ideas, and may take days to weeks to months to investigate.
This program includes a family style breakfast and two snacks all prepared by a certified chef on site. She will prepare healthy meals and snacks while keeping children's taste buds in mind!
